After 6,329 kilometers, we found the rental car parking lot at DeGaulle Airport. Thanks to Greta Garmin - without her help, we would never have seen as much of France. We took the bus from the airport to the Paris Opera Metro, and the Metro to near our hotel. After unpacking, we took Rick Steeves Short Marais Walk, and included the Jewish quarter and the area near the Pompidou Center. We bought some Israeli deli food for dinner, and wine (bordeaux), and are eating in our room. It's the best room we've had, and we're so glad to be here.
