This is a photo out the front window of our Emirates 380 descending onto the Dubai Runway after an 18-hour flight from San Francisco over the North Pole, across the Soviet Union and Iran into the United Arab Emirates. We're now in the sleep/fly seats in our gate waiting for the flight to Kolkatta, India.
